"Guru" is one who leads from darkness to light; one opens the 'third eye' of perception of the taught. KPCTA envisions a concomitant of college teachers who act as the leading lights of a fast changing society. WATCHWORD To act as the beacon-light to society in the turbulent, frothy sea of higher education.

As an organization,it is KPCTA's endeavor to contribute to society, through broad ranging activities in the area of higher education. Individually, we aim to combine good citizenship with the courage to dream and to translate those dreams into realities. It is our humble mission to create future generations socially sensitive, morally well educated in moral values-values that have stood the test of time. At the same time it will also be our mission to earn for the teacher his rightful place in society, a place and space that will enable him to discharge his responsibilities free of coercion, harassments and bureaucratic pressures.

BEING a college teacher, I am proud to be a KPCTA member. Moreover, it gives me immense pleasure to be the president of KPCTA, the one and only association of teaching community which stands always for the welfare and betterment of College Teachers. I invite and welcome all the College Teachers to be part of the KPCTA. Let us work together for the benefit of the teaching community.
